Hailing from Nagari of Lord Shiva (BabaDham) Deoghar, Shri Markandey Jajware, whose art is known as the “Putru Krity,” has created sculptures and paintings after collecting various images from different villages and portions of Human life. He has had no formal education in art, and his learning of the subject has been self-taught. He has been awarded a senior fellowship for “Outstanding Person in the Field of Culture” from CCRT India.
